Evergreen FS hosted a FILL-A-TRUCK donation collection drive December 16-21, 2021. The community was invited to fill a semi-truck trailer with items to help those impacted by the recent devastating tornadoes in KY.
The truck arrived in Mayfield, KY on December 22nd, and all of the donations were quickly unloaded at the destination.
Donated items included tarps, extension cords, hammers, saws, repair supplies, cleaning supplies, generators, clothing, shoes, blankets, toys for children, bottled water, non-perishable food items, supplies for babies, and personal hygiene products. Financial donations were also accepted.
We coordinated with the New Liberty Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY for distribution.
